Mindy Schweitzer-Rawls
Director of Fundraising Services
Mindy is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over two decades of experience empowering organizations to achieve their missions. Mindy started her nonprofit career working in affordable housing as a property manager for a community development organization, sparking her interest in and appreciation for increased access to safe, accessible housing and discriminatory land use and redevelopment issues, which has remained a throughline over her 20 years in the nonprofit sector.
While at Purpose Possible, Mindy has served as the lead consultant for the Atlanta Land Trust’s fundraising initiatives since 2020. As the Director of Fundraising Services at Purpose Possible, Mindy leads a team of dedicated consultants in crafting and implementing tailored fundraising, communications, and community development strategies with a focus on human service organizations, affordable housing, and community development, as well as other organizations across the sector.
Mindy has supported the work of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network, Habitat for Humanity of Dekalb County, a Raleigh-based housing-focused organization, DHIC, and served as the interim executive director at a family housing shelter, Nicholas House.
Mindy has worked with: Atlanta Land Trust, Wesley International Academy, 21st Century Leaders, Nicholas House, Endwell, Southern Jewish Resource Network for Gender and Sexual Diversity, and others.
