  • Survey board and staff

  • Conduct interviews and focus groups:

    • 1:1 personal interviews with up to 15 key stakeholders such as current and former board members, funders, community partners, and super volunteers.

    • Digital survey distributed to up to 3 major stakeholder groups; tailored versions will reflect appropriate segments (donors, major funders, general subscribers, community partners, etc). Hard copy of the survey onsite for those who may not have access to complete the digital version.

Frame the future opportunities and challenges on the horizon for your sector:

  • Scan of similar organizations locally and nationally.

  • Identify strategic priorities and goals for the next three years

  • Create a tactical work plan and KPI dashboard to monitor progress for the life of the plan, in the form of an operational plan

  • Conduct a full-day strategic plan retreat session. Working group sessions to further develop each goal into more defined objectives, strategies, baselines and benchmarks.

  • With Executive Director, create a high-level budget to coincide with priority area initiatives
